Niue island is the first dark sky nation. It means, there is no atmospheric pollution and at night you can see all the stars, which is unusual. 

Tourists come to admire them, maka observatory would allow them to learn more about the stars. On the other hand, the Niuean culture is astronomy oriented. It is a way to share it with others than the locals. So for the identity, we created a visual language that combines science, culture and language. Maka means rock and is the nickname of the island.
