Worship of one week with the graphic design studio Cheval vert.
From the question of randomness and the conditions of emergence, I establish an evolutionary method that allows the conception of a visual system in a design process. This method allows me to leave my comfort zone as a designer to produce a graphic system like a living being.
To produce random content, I first threw together fragments of marbles on a flat surface. I took a picture of the resulting pattern and repeated the operation. I interpreted my random data as ideograms, beings seen under the microscope or astrological signs. For that I played with the framing and the multiplication of these signs.
The aim is to reflect on the question of the visual system of algorithm. It is an exploration of how shapes and patterns emerge in nature and how we can be inspired by them.
